What we offer

Air source heat pumps are at the heart of what we do. By extracting heat from the outside air — even on cold days — they deliver efficient, low-carbon warmth for your radiators, underfloor heating and hot water, typically producing three to four units of heat for every unit of electricity used.

But a heat pump is only as good as its design. We bring heating design in-house, carefully sizing and specifying a system around your property’s heat loss, layout and lifestyle. The result is heating that’s quietly efficient, comfortable and built around how you actually live.

Grant & eligibility support

We guide you through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and check your eligibility for available grant funding.

Design-led, never one-size-fits-all

Most heat pump disappointment comes down to poor design, not poor equipment. Our approach puts a detailed, room-by-room heat loss survey at the centre of every project — so the system we specify is the right one for your home from the very first day.

01

Start with heat loss, not a product

Before we recommend any system, we calculate how much heat your home loses room by room. That gives us the numbers needed to design the right setup, from pump size and flow temperature to radiator and emitter requirements.

02

Design for lower flow temperatures

We design each system to run at the lowest practical flow temperature. Where needed, we upgrade radiators or specify underfloor heating so your heat pump can work efficiently without compromising comfort.

03

Choose the right heat pump for the home

We usually install Vaillant aroTHERM systems thanks to their proven performance and strong warranty support. Where a project needs a different approach, we may specify trusted alternatives such as Haier or Clivet.

04

Finish with smart controls

Every system is commissioned with controls that help it run smoothly day to day. Where suitable, we use Passiv smart controls to learn how your home behaves, respond to the weather, and improve efficiency automatically.

Get up to £7,500 — or £9,000 — towards your heat pump

The Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) gives homeowners in England and Wales a substantial grant towards replacing fossil-fuel heating with a low-carbon air source heat pump. As an MCS-certified installer, we apply the grant directly to your quote and manage the full application for you.

The £9,000 off-gas uplift is available for eligible oil and LPG-heated properties from 21 July 2026 to 31 March 2027. Eligibility criteria and funding levels are subject to Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme rules.

Air Source Heat Pumps FAQs

Will a heat pump keep my home warm in winter?

Yes. A correctly designed heat pump delivers full warmth even on the coldest UK days — the key word is ‘designed’. Our heat loss survey makes sure the system is sized for your worst-case winter, not an average day.

Not necessarily. We assess every emitter during design and only recommend upgrading the radiators that genuinely need it to run at an efficient flow temperature. Many rooms keep their existing radiators.

Eligible homeowners can currently claim a government grant towards an air source heat pump. We check your eligibility and handle the BUS application as part of our service.

Modern units like the Vaillant aroTHERM are very quiet, and careful siting during design keeps any sound well within permitted levels — usually no louder than a fridge from a short distance away.
